The daith passes through the innermost cartilage fold of the ear. Not every anatomy has enough room, so we check this beforehand. Some people associate a daith with migraine relief, but there is no convincing scientific evidence for this and we make no medical guarantee. The flat sits in the flat cartilage between the helix and rook. The best position depends not only on the front view, but also on the shape and curves at the back of the ear. The rook sits in the cartilage fold between the inner and outer parts of the ear. Its shape and direction determine whether there is enough room; if needed, we may recommend a flat instead. The tragus sits in the small piece of cartilage in front of the ear canal. Not every tragus offers enough room, so we check the anatomy beforehand. One earlobe piercing costs €40. If you have two or more earlobe piercings during the same appointment, you pay €30 per piercing. We decide on the placement together; titanium jewellery in silver or gold colour is included. The earlobe is the only ear piercing we sometimes place with a ring from the start. An industrial connects two ear piercings with one long straight barbell. Your anatomy must allow both channels to sit in one safe line without pressure on the ear. The snug, also called an anti-helix, passes across the firm cartilage ridge beside the helix. This piercing needs enough space and is not suitable for every ear. The nostril piercing is a versatile classic. We choose the placement based on your anatomy and, where possible, take into account whether you would like to wear a ring later. We usually fit a one-piece 1 mm nose stud; for some noses a labret is more suitable. Standard jewellery is included. From a minimum of 2 months, a suitable ring may sometimes be worn if there is no redness, swelling, tenderness or discharge. Healing may take longer.

A septum piercing is placed through the thin, flexible tissue at the bottom of the nasal septum. The exact position differs by anatomy; placing it too low through loose skin increases the chance of migration. We use a 1.2 mm titanium horseshoe ring, included in the price. A smiley passes through the frenulum inside the upper lip and is mainly visible when you smile. Not every frenulum is suitable; we check the anatomy and consider possible contact with teeth and gums. A tongue piercing is placed vertically through the centre of the tongue. We use a straight 1.6 mm titanium bar, included in the price. A tongue-web piercing passes through the frenulum beneath the tongue. Because of the nearby salivary glands and delicate tissue, we usually advise against this piercing. We consider it only in the exceptional case of a particularly long, flat frenulum and after a careful check. A labret passes through the lower lip and can be placed centrally or slightly to one side. We use a 1.2 mm titanium labret with a flat back, included in the price. The initial jewellery is longer to allow for swelling. Between 3 and 6 weeks, usually around 4 weeks and once swelling has reduced sufficiently, you receive a shorter bar free of charge. Downsizing does not mean the piercing is fully healed. Snake bites are two symmetrical piercings below the lower lip. We tailor the placement to your face, teeth and gums. We fit 1.2 mm titanium labrets; standard jewellery is included. Shorter bars are normally assessed within 3–6 weeks, usually around 4 weeks once swelling has reduced sufficiently, and are supplied free of charge. A bridge piercing passes horizontally through the skin of the bridge of the nose, usually between the eyebrows. Your anatomy determines whether there is enough tissue and where the piercing can be placed safely; we never force a placement. An eyebrow piercing is usually placed vertically at the outer edge of the eyebrow; a horizontal placement is sometimes possible. The exact position depends on your anatomy and preference. A navel piercing is usually placed in the fold of skin above the navel. Because suitability depends strongly on anatomy, we always perform a brief check first. If there is too little room or too much pressure while sitting, we advise against the piercing. An adapted or floating placement is sometimes possible. A nipple piercing is usually placed horizontally through the base of the nipple; other directions are sometimes possible. We fit a straight 1.6 mm titanium barbell, included in the price. One nipple piercing costs €50; two nipples during the same appointment cost €95 together. The Christina is placed where the outer labia meet beneath the pubic mound. This decorative piercing is not intended for sexual stimulation and is possible only when there is enough firm tissue. A clitoral-hood piercing passes only through the hood above the clitoris, never through the clitoris itself. A vertical placement is most common; a horizontal version is sometimes possible. A frenum piercing is placed on the underside of the penis shaft, usually in the tissue between the glans and shaft. We normally use a straight 1.2 or 1.6 mm titanium barbell, depending on anatomy. A curved barbell may be used only when anatomy or placement makes it more suitable. Standard jewellery is included in the price. A guiche is placed in the perineum and is completely hidden. It can be worn alone or as part of a series. We normally use a curved titanium barbell, sized to suit the anatomy. A hafada is placed in the skin of the scrotum, usually horizontally. One piercing or a series is possible depending on anatomy and preference. Labia piercings are placed through the inner or outer labia and can be worn individually or as a symmetrical pair. A lorum is placed at the transition between the penis shaft and scrotum and can form part of a piercing ladder. The Prince Albert, also called a PA, runs from the urethra to the underside of the glans. The exact placement depends on anatomy, circumcision and blood supply. We use a 2.5 mm titanium captive-bead ring as standard, included in the price. We advise considering stretching only after at least 4 to 6 months and only when everything is completely settled. A dermal anchor, also called a microdermal, consists of a small anchor beneath the skin with a replaceable top. We make a small opening and carefully place the titanium anchor without removing unnecessary skin tissue. A surface bar is placed on a flat part of the body without a natural passage, such as the neck, chest or another suitable area outside the face. Suitability, direction and thickness depend on skin and anatomy. We use special titanium surface jewellery, usually 1.2 or 1.6 mm, included in the price. A facial surface bar is usually placed near the cheekbone. Suitability, direction and thickness depend on the skin, anatomy and the amount of movement and pressure at the chosen location. We remove a dermal as carefully as possible. Through a small opening, we release the anchor from the surrounding connective tissue while putting as little strain on the skin as possible. How quickly the area recovers depends on the condition of the tissue and the reason for removal. We assess this in the studio and provide suitable care advice. We stretch healed earlobe piercings in a controlled way, usually by 1 to 2 mm at a time. Between steps, we generally recommend 4 to 6 weeks of rest depending on the tissue.
